Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree! This year Andy threw away my fake tree and we headed to Lowe's and bought a real tree! The kids were excited! We put it up the day after Thanksgiving and decorated it a week later (a little slow but we had to get past all of the many sicknesses that consumed our little family).
I let the kids stand on chairs so they wouldn't clump all of the ornaments at the bottom...instead the clumped all the ornaments in the middle!
We got out all the Christmas books, toys, and stuff. Lots of fun for the kids. We also started the 25 days of Christmas book my Grandma Grayson made for us. It has a song, scripture, and story for each day.
The fun of decorating the tree lasted a long time....ornament after ornament. Tate loves to lay under the tree!!! He has started to grab at the ribbon though!!
Tate is now 4 months old. He loves to kick and keeps kicking off his socks. Solution...sleeper with no feet! Sweet! We have never had one of these before but Tate loves it. He only wakes up one time at night (4am on the dot) and we have started to put him to bed at 6:30pm.
Saturday we were suppose to go to the Windsor Ward party (I don't think we have missed it since we have been married...we love Andy's home ward, the fun skit, and Marlene's yearly piano playing) but the drive and the rainy/snowy weather had us looking for an alternative for the kids. So, we woke up really early and headed to The Speedway to see The Princess and the Frog.
Ainsley had to kiss everything....Caleb loved the movie! Loud Laughter almost through out. He was hillarious to sit next too!! Aubrey was a little scared with the VooDoo. Tate stayed awake almost the entire time and loved it!!
Since we missed Santa at the Windsor Ward Party we took the kids to NFM for a free picture with Santa! Ainsley was so excited...until it was her turn to sit on his lap.
Awesome Santa!!! He talked to each child about all the good things they did during the year, things they could work harder on, and something they might want. He was so awesome!
